Check the Box was established by local interior designers and a design logistics expert with 50 years of combined industry experience out of passion to be a better partner to design & build professionals. We are customer obsessed, and we value trust, transparency, and thoughtfulness in all we do.
Our goal is to alleviate some of the frustrations associated with the receiving and delivery aspects of your operations giving you the visibility and tools you need most for streamlined project management. We value a people-to-people approach, and we recognize the support, consistency, and attention to detail needed at the final stage of a project.

General Manager & Parnter
John Kruty leverages over 20 years of logistics experience as General Manager & Partner of Check the Box. Previously, he has worked with BOBO Intriguing Objects, Verellen, Texture Imports, Blue Ocean Traders, and Cisco Home, among others, in showroom logistics for High Point Market and also has significant expertise in handling and dealing antique furnishings through his line ABK Studio, where he is a regular at Scott Antique Markets and Round Top Antiques Show. From Douglasville, GA, John takes pride in building a highly effective and collaborative team since Check the Box’s inception in February of 2022 and fostering a family-like company culture that merges creative problem-solving with logistical precision to bring design concepts to reality. He embodies our core value by prioritizing and nurturing strong customer relationships above all. In his free time, John pursues hiking, cooking, gaming, coding, drawing, and writing, and is a dedicated supporter of Arsenal Football Club.

Warehouse Lead
Originally from Yadkinville, NC, and raised in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Billy Joyce serves as Check the Box’s Warehouse Lead, overseeing day-to-day operations of our receiving, pick-up, and claims services as well as load management for the installation team. He brings seven years of warehousing and logistics experience, most recently working in fulfillment with XPO Logistics. Billy’s additional background in construction provides the team a unique perspective on the design-build process for new homes, and he has developed a strong understanding of the furnishings stage during his tenure as Warehouse Lead by working closely with our interior design customers. Billy is passionate about the exceptional team at Check the Box and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also enjoys DIY projects, photography, and spending time with his wife and two daughters, Emma and Piper Ann. Stop in and meet Billy during your next warehouse visit!

Office Administrator
Gabrielle Walker, the Office Administrator at Check the Box, brings to the team over six years of dedicated experience in office management within the warehousing and logistics space. She provides valuable knowledge in scheduling coordination, claim management, customer relations, and billing. Her time at Check the Box and previously with White Glove Storage & Delivery, Atlanta Peach Movers, and Bulldog Movers have refined her skills and also deepened her appreciation for the logistics of interior design. Gabrielle recognizes the meticulous work that goes into each design, spanning from conception to delivery. She is passionate about interacting with our customers daily and her role in facilitating a successful outcome for their projects. Hailing from Gadsden, Alabama, Gabrielle relocated to Georgia a decade ago, and she is thriving in the friendly, fast-paced environment at Check the Box. She is a proud mom to two daughters and likes to sing and dance, travel with friends and family, and indulge in her favorite Italian foods as much as possible.
